I suppose it depends on your definition of "vastly". It is unlikely to be 100%, that I agree with. But very likely to be a lot closer to 3% than 2.7%.

Trump made the choice to not give the BLS enough money to keep the stats. He chose instead to make sure that we didn't have good data. There apparently was enough money to give Kristi Two Jets her jets. A fraction of that would have keep the data safe.
