Midwest refineries hoping to rely on Venezuelan heavy crude are dependent on a Keystone southern pipeline expansion project which will take 5 to 7 years to build, which no one wants to build, offset by a pipeline expansion connecting Alberta with a port near Vancouver. Check-Mate.

No one has made even the vaguest comments about expanding the capacity of the southern half of the Keystone pipeline, let alone make any semi-promises to this mythical project, because no one with capital wants to spend $3 billion or more on a TACO.

Stupid people really do enjoy being full-stupid in public. That's an obvious fact.

Acting stupid makes them feel giddy, just like smacking their face in with a brick.

But they're entertaining on some level.
