Thanks. I was working on a SI Live Trade Signal model, but that somehow led me to building DSS model, which I think is more useful, especially in the context of CEFs.

Re. this model mostly targets whether a CEF has the income necessary to fund its distributions over time, Correct?

Mostly correct, but incomplete. DSS tells you if your capital survives. In other words, it tells you whether a CEF’s distribution is supported by durable capital outcomes over time, not merely by current income or accounting coverage. Is the yield you are getting a real yield or merely masking capital or nav erosion?

I'm working on the next version, will post updated definition soon. Hopefully, that will clear any confusion.

Thanks again.
