Eric,
To drive most that moisture out of the ICE you need to drive it for at least thirty miles.
This makes no sense. I have had absolutely no issues with the ICE running on the order of a few miles every other day, especially during periods of rain where the air is saturated with moisture.

The start-stop nature of the ICE does motivate me to replace the oil often, though.
