Some companies named with their digital-signal-processing technology can utilize existing long-distance network to achieve what QWEST is doing. Does this make sense? If that's the case, why QWEST and several other companies are either building or expanding their fiber optical network?

Can any one share some knowledge with me? Thanks

Not too much irrational exhuberance.....Keep in mind, now with 200,000,000 shares outstanding, every 5 points adds $1 billion to the market cap. This company should be in for much slower share price growth.
