Hamas-linked CAIR condemns Gabbard’s ‘rant against American Muslims and Islam’ as ‘delusional and disqualifying’

The Hamas-linked Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) has no legitimacy in its criticism of Tulsi Gabbard. It has never renounced, nor would it ever renounce, Hamas, the Palestinian “resistance” from the River to the Sea. Nor would it renounce verses such as these (among many others) from Islamic texts.
“I asked Allah’s Apostle, ‘O Allah’s Apostle! What is the best deed?’ He replied, ‘To offer the prayers at their early stated fixed times.’ I asked, ‘What is next in goodness?’ He replied, ‘To be good and dutiful to your parents.’ I further asked, ‘What is next in goodness?’ He replied, ‘To participate in Jihad in Allah’s Cause.’ I did not ask Allah’s Apostle anymore and if I had asked him more, he would have told me more.” (Sahih Bukhari 4:52:41)
“Let those who sell the life of this world for the next fight in the way of Allah. Whoever fights in the way of Allah, whether he is killed or victorious, on him we will bestow a great reward.” (Quran 4:74)
“When your Lord inspired the angels, I am with you. So make those who believe stand firm. I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Then strike the necks and strike their fingertips.” (Quran 8:12)
A man asks Muhammad “which of men is the best?” Muhammad replies that it is the man who is always ready for battle and flies into it “seeking death at places where it can be expected.” (Sahih Muslim 20:4655)
In the words of Muhammad: “I would love to be martyred in Allah’s Cause and then get resurrected and then get martyred, and then get resurrected again and then get martyred and then get resurrected again and then get martyred.” (Sahih al-Bukhari 2797)
“Indeed, Allah has bought from the believers their lives and their wealth, because the garden will be theirs, they will fight in the way of Allah and will kill and be killed. It is a promise that is binding on him in the Torah and the Gospel and the Qur’an. Who fulfills his covenant better than Allah? Rejoice then in your bargain that you have made, for that is the supreme triumph.” (Quran 9:111)
These verses encapsulate the ideology that Gabbard warned about in her speech. They bear witness to Islam being a religion of expansion and violence, and one that celebrates “martrydom.” CAIR has no merit discussing the so-called “delusional and disqualifying rants” of Tulsi Gabbard, or of any other American who warns about Islam, for that matter.
While CAIR is trying to prove Gabbard wrong, are they willing to openly reassure Americans that there will be no violence as a result of insults to their religion, since the freedom of speech is the cornerstone of free societies? Sharia law, on the other hand, is just the opposite; it forbids criticism of Islam and Muhammad.
Will CAIR ever also ever announce the merits of freedom of religion, and declare that all are equal under one American flag? And that Israel has a right to exist with Jerusalem as its capital, and to defend itself?
The more CAIR talks, the more they prove Gabbard right. CAIR cannot refute any point Gabbard made, and it knows that.

The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the nation’s largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization, today condemned Director of National Intelligence (DNI) Tulsi Gabbard’s rant against American Muslims and Islam during a Turning Point USA conference over the weekend as “delusional” and “disqualifying.” In response to Gabbard’s claim that Muslims in Paterson, New Jersey and other cities are plotting to impose “sharia law,” among other unhinged remarks, CAIR said that Gabbard should retract and apologize for her statements or resign.
During a speech at TPUSA AmericaFest, Gabbard claimed that American Muslims are working to impose “sharia law” and “Islamic principles” across America through the “use of laws or violence,” specifically including the cities of Paterson, New Jersey, and Houston, Texas. Gabbard claimed that clerics in Dearborn and Minneapolis are trying to “trying to recruit and radicalize young people.” Gabbard repeatedly attacked “Islamist ideology” as a thinly veiled stand-in for Islam and went further, outright condemning “Islamic principles.” Gabbard also falsely claimed that a conference representing CAIR had earlier this year called for the implementation of sharia law in America. No such conference ever occurred, and no such remarks have ever been made by CAIR.
Last month, CAIR’s national office distributed a formal congressional briefing memo “Weaponized Islamophobia: The Return of the Anti-Sharia Hoax,” to every member of the U.S. House of Representatives and Senate, along with a companion educational document titled “Sharia in American Life.”
In a statement, Washington, D.C., based CAIR said:
“As the director of national intelligence, Tulsi Gabbard is responsible for gathering, analyzing and presenting factual information to policymakers so that they can protect the American people. The last person who should serve in this critical, apolitical role is a bigoted conspiracy theorist who spreads hate against the American people…..
