I moved around the US mainland and Hawaii during my life time. I believe that I always did more poorly in school and physically when it was colder and cloudier. My grades almost always went up as the days got longer and warmer. The emotional depression and inability to concentrate faded and I often 'saved my ass' in the spring semester. It still seems to be the case now. Real exercise is restricted in the fall and winter, if one is not fully dedicated. Cold wet weather and shot days are not a fun time to do long trails, or even walk around a dank neighborhood.

Charters and Pogeu did me a great favor a few decades ago by pointing out D3 and its associated helpers. My life has improved as a result, and I have passed it on to the elderly patients I have given therapy to.
I believe that Charters and Pogeu, particularly when they were bitterly disputing the finer points of D3 supplementation, have had an impact of peoples heath that goes far beyond this thread.

If you want to live longer, be happier, and stay involved with life be very aware of supplemental necessities, and practices that will help you attain these things. Make them central to your life, particularly in the morning when you can start things off right. It is very easy to waiver, to listen to some know-all-Jerk-off and slip away from what you have already decided is good for you. Most of the advice on Youtube is click-baited untruth. You can watch a dozen videos on a particular health topic and 10 of them will be either lies or fall very short of the truth, of just not provide the information advertised.

Try and get a set supplement routine with a load that you can afford and most importantly digest. Avoid as much sugar and starches as possible. No booze. Cut the consumption of highly processed foods down. Look for high fiber foods, or take a good fiber supplement. Get out and exercise as much as possible for as long as possible. Cardio is essential. Fast walking will help greatly, some jogging or ultra style forced walks can make a bit difference if you work into them. Forget the running. You ain't got too many reasons to run, and you likely don't know how anymore. It will just fk up your legs and joints. I've seen literally hundreds of people move into permanent lameness because they were to proud to finish at the back of the pack.

----I did a long hike in a isolated part of the Volcano last week. Conditions had been difficult for a month or two. The next day my blood sugar was down 30 points, and my blood pressure down 10 points on D/S. and my heart rate had dropped down >10 beats per minute. All just from a two hour strenuous hike.

We are all seeing a lot of time pass by. And we have all likely seen those of older generations pass. Now, for many of us, that passing is slipping into our school buddies and work associates. Heart problems, Lung problems, Diabetes, Parkinson's, Cancer. Be aware of the call signs of these demons every damn day, avoid what you learn is part of the problem. Many foods and additives are wacking us.

The goal should be to live long and happy. To enjoy life, and contribute positive input into the human endeavor. Keep that in mind when you get up in the morning.

Say hello to St. Nick when he passes through tonight. Aloha.
