Did you read the recent NSS?

We have no allies. But we can work with China and Russia. The Europeans are a growing threat unless they embrace their fascists.

The antebellum South thought they could beat the North because they were righteous and had Europe by the balls and thus their support because of cotton. Their SMO was predicated on that foundation.

Turns out, none of that was true. While certainly not an exact comparison, the same sort of arrogance is on display.

MAGAt mentality assumes no need for allies as long as they can bully others into compliance. Authoritarian regimes have allies until the moment they see an advantage in betraying them.

As Steve the Pilot* liked to say "Curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal!"...

*Alan Tudyk played Wash, the pilot of Serenity in "Firefly". He also played a character know as Steve the Pirate in "Dodgeball", so...

One reason why he was able to stop the war in Gaza is because of Middle Eastern alliances, even though the dumbass thinks it was sheer willpower on his part.

When the Orange dumbass launches his "special military operation" in Venezuela, he's gonna have to do it all alone.

After four years of rudderless foreign policy Trump returns (after the theft of the 2020 election, which has become clearer by the day, with the recent news of 315K unsigned ballots in Georgia, for which the idiot Raffensperger simply says, "Nothing to see here.")

And you refer to Trump as a dumbass. One thing is certain: HE NEVER FELL FOR THE THEFT OF THE 2020 ELECTION.

As to Gaza, it was Trump's leadership that has set the stage for a total revitalization of Gaza. This was planned in meetings with Kushner which I have previously referred to in several posts. If you think Trump is the problem and not the solution you have no idea what is going n there.
