To All:

Regarding my earlier post (#11959) about the manufacturer eight months into its IT remediation work and now discovering that it also has a really big embedded problem:

It has been pointed out to me that I should have better recalled the content of the conference call, for therein Mr Jenkins revealed that TAVA is talking with Keane.

It is Keane whose client is this particular manufacturer, and so ten to one it is TAVA who has completed the Y2K picture for this manufacturer, not a small company by any means...

So much for my finder's fee <G>

Best,
Charliss

check RealAudio, they've got the audio of the Senate Banking Committee session with Greenspan, who, when prompted by Senator Bennett, was unflinching in his concern about Y2K, especially that small amounts of non-compliance may have major impact, due to the interconnectedness of systems. Bennett supplemented, with comments about the fragility of the power grid in the US, among other things.
