Most of the companies you mentioned would NOT be companies whose business I would call "good". The exception being Rainforest Cafe. Boston Chicken and DJT are companies with all kinds of problems. A great short IMO. RAIN would not be. It's very profitable and has strong financials. The drop b/c of SSS was unwarranted and RAIN is coming back strong. You would have had to have excellent timing on that one! Dell is the perfect example of why not to short a strong company IMO. I'm amazed at the number of shorts who continually eat it with DELL. Great companies get overvalued, it doesn't mean they will correct in a major way.

I'm with you Candlestick. Just doubled my short at 70 (initial short at 60). Am prepared to see 80 where I will add 50% more short.

I'm patient and unlike my previous times shorting, I didn't start off shorting the farm. Bertlesmann entry is yet another good sign that eventually the valuation on AMZN will return to sanity.
