There are real fraud cases in childcare centers, but not the fake videos by internet influencers who are trying to post sensational claims to get views and ad clicks It's not credible for a daycare center to be completely empty as there is a mix of paying customers and customers using government aid. It's also not credible to show a fake man-in-the-street interview with a 'neighbor' who claims to live next to a daycare center and somehow knows all 8 daycare centers spread across the county are always empty. If they were really serious about uncovering fraud, they would hire private investigators and accountants to scour records, which others have done.

Whistleblower: Minnesota's Child Care Assistance Program has fraud cases dating back 12 years - KSTP.com 5 Eyewitness News

My guess is that there is fraud from 2020-2021 in aid programs like PPP, Medicare, SSDI, Defense contracting, and so on since the Covid restrictions had government workers working from home and less able to do field work, such as interviews, inspections, and so on. I had the misfortune to handling a probate case during 2020-201 and I had to submit all documents through a drop box. The auditors were all working from home, and were unavailable except by virtual appointments.
