All who knows E*Trade: need help!

I placed a limit buy order yesterday at 7 5/8 and it was erroneously rejected by E*Trade system for the reason of "no sufficient funds available" (they probably didn't count TAVA margin). I called them later and they recognized their fault and filed the inquiry. Now they are refusing to fill the order because it was not a "marketable order", i.e. it was made on the bid size and didn't become ask past the time it was placed (only bid). Although, it might have been filled on the bid as well! But no guarantee, of course.

I still insist on filling my order: they rejected my order erroneously and so robbed me of any chance to fill my buy order. No cooperation on their side.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Viktor.
