Hi L.D.,
Making friends was the furthest thing from my mind when joining this "Amway" thread. With "shorty" gone I thought it needed a bit of fresh blood.
Sorry not to have made your day, try to have a good one anyway. Being upset will simply give you ulcers.

Current B/A: 1 3/8 to 1 7/8

There has been no insider trading

This so-called 'insider trading report' from Stockwatch simply indicates the normal accounting that needed to be done to switch from the VSE to the U.S. market. Options held by insiders were first deemed to be disposed of in Canada and then re-acquired in the U.S. No insiders have sold or bought shares. As for the large quantity of options which Hans B. "disposed" of - these were the shares that the VSE would not release from escrow - as was indicated in the information circular that all shareholders received.

Some of us on this thread have worked hard to build a thread that can be useful for shareholders. Our efforts may also reflect our support of the company, and the fact that we are shareholders. No useful service is provided to the shareholders or the company if inaccurate or misleading information is printed on SI. In fact, inaccurate information has caused much unnecessary stress for shareholders and much extra work for the company.

It takes effort to get accurate information and interpret it correctly. Anyone can easily get inaccurate information and interpret it incorrectly. I have never respected those who use a forum like SI to create or benefit from fear.

I choose to support a company that I believe is working hard to create a business that will reward all shareholders. This is not an act of blind faith. Since I believe the company is working hard, I also choose to make the effort not to print information on SI that could detract from the company's efforts.

Of course, informed criticisms or questions about the company's performance may help the readers of this thread. I believe that people who would make such criticisms should first take the time to at least check the accuracy of what they are saying, and call the company to see if there is a reasonable explanation.

My opinion is that I am very skeptical of both the quality of
information, and the motivations, of new contributors to this thread.
Over months and months, regular readers of this thread learn to
interpret how to understand the information that is provided by the
regular contributors.

As for new contributors, until I am proven wrong, I am forced to assume the worst about the quality of their information and their motivations.

I apologize for 'lecturing'. But I do not apologize for criticizing those who give shareholders needless ulcers by printing misleading or inaccurate negative information. The same goes for their spouses.
