Bev, Thanks for the info on WinWave. 70% accurate rate is just
amazing. If this percentage can be proven in a long run, this
software would be a miracle. I think I will ask for a trial to see how
it works as well.

I have both Metastock Dos and Window versions. I too like them
very much. The window version downloader is probably the best
in the industry. Interesting enough, I still like the good old
Metastock Dos version in many ways and am still using it for my
TA most of the time (use window version downloader to down
load Reuters stock data). One of the things I like about the Dos
version is the charts it shows on the screen are very clear. It
shows me clearly which period the price action is smoother and
which period is choppier (I think it's important for careful chart judgement in TA). While the window version screen shows less clearly about this somehow.

Looking forward to more of your comments on softwares and TA.

Ed

Hi Bev,

I'm also a MetaStock 6.5 fan but unfortunately still a novice at writing and understanding the formulas for Explorer. Would you please post your WinWaves exploration by column and filter and also perhaps an explanation of what it is searching for or attempting to achieve.

Thank you.
Hans
