I sold about 5% of my AAPL last week to reduce its weighting, although it still remains by far my biggest position. For about 15 years it was my only stock and there was some margin loan used, so it was about a 130% position, now it’s “only” about 60% and no more margin.

Now I need to figure out what to buy with the proceeds. I prepaid my income taxes that will result from the gains taken last week.

I will sell more AAPL in 2026, but want to sell some by writing calls. Easier said than done.
