I keep shouting in the wilderness to whoever will hear: Republicans need to move to Johnson County, Kansas. KC metro, dense suburban to rural, great place to live. A few thousand families would flip the county back to being a Republican bellwether.

People keep moving to Texas and Florida, which is great and all, but its not the be-all people think. Texas in particular: the cities are all blue hellholes. Houston, Austin, Dallas, San Antonio... all of the metros are awful. So unless you're moving to Odessa or Lubbock, you're just trading one Democrat for another.
