Well Eddie, if it does so, that simply means it went 'nowhere' in a 12-18 month time period (since fall/1997), and lagged behind many other tech leaders...

PS - I hope we can do better than that, although it's certainly looking like the market is saying Dell is going to win the PC wars in the long term. As a corollary, I would say that CPQ management senses this and is kicking the firm 'upstairs' to better insulate them from the direct model competitors (and hopefully enjoy higher profit margins). I saw several posts today regarding continued record PC sales, amazing how the market reacts as if CPQ is not even in this business...
