Whatever we are witnessing in Maduro's removal, will be in a much bigger scale if the Iranians remove the Aytollah's.

Iran is like the old lion limping in the savannah and the wild dogs and the hyenas come for the kill.

Hi Bob! The US have been buying the same kind of heavy oil as Venezuela’s from Canada for decades.
  • They need it to mix it with shale oil for refining.
  • Hence the US are shale oil exporters but heavy oil importers.
  • Having a second source besides Canada allows the Trump administration to crash the Canadian’s industry as a lever for its expansionist delirium policies by introducing a concurrent it completely controls.
  • The oil companies have already the modern refining plants in the Gulf of Mexico, so why would they want to invest in modernizing archaic Venezuelan refining infrastructures while they already have them fully working in the States ?
  • They’ll only do it if the US government provides subsidy.
  • The Venezuela alternate solution has now provoked considerable fear in the Canadian oil industry which wonders if it will be able to trade its oil with the Chinese while Trump covets to control all the Western hemisphere trading routes.
  • Trump does intend to push China also out of Canada, but it will be a much harder struggle since there is also the Pacific route.
  • As for pushing petrol prices down, this puts the Russian economy in even greater stress than it already is, and favors the internal US economy.
