What Carney's visit to China means for Canada is opening the door to more trade. That means more container traffic which means more fentanyl precursors and drugs which are re exported around the world, including south into the USA; it means more money laundering and political corruption; it mens more corruption of Canadian bureaucracies including police; it means opening the door to Chinese investment in Canada, and no doubt via jv's with Canadian Liberal oligarch businesses like Brookfield and Powercorp; it means making Canada even more of a security risk to the USA.
