chris,

i am a bottom up investor and find all of this technical analysis much ado about nothing. although i do admit to looking at a chart before i take any position in a stock - max, year, 3mo, and day. from these i have been able to make good guesses about the general timing.

most of the technical analysis is really little more than an attempt to make sense of what is essentially noise - random signals reflecting unmanipulated information arriving in the marketplace for individual buy and sell signals.

one of the real problems with a stock like cobra is the lack of volume that must be needed for the kind of analysis you employ. i checked out today's intraday price and volume and there was barely anything there. is this because nobody is following the stock? does it really have a future in terms of movement? will it be discovered?

the answer to these questions suggests one will pay a commission to get in, become impatient, and then pay a commission again to exit. there may be better or more promising places to put your capital if you are working with limited resources.

just some thoughts from an old time who has been playing the game for more than 40 years.

good luck
