Qone0, there is this YouTube channel that I used to watch on a regular basis called Active Self Protection. He gave great advice on how to use firearms.

Some of his episodes were targeted toward members of the law enforcement community. Among other things, he advised them to try and control their language. He understood that emotions tend to run high during incidents that lead to officer-involved shootings.

But he also understood that there is a legal aspect to the defensive use of firearms. Anytime foul language is used, that could be used against the officers in a court of law when legality is questionable.

Bottom line is that you never know how a jury is going to rule.

P.S. - One more thing. Advocates of armed defense say that they'd rather be judged by 12 than carried by six. However, it's clear from the video that the ICE agent involved was at no risk of being carried by pall bearers.
