pz, Thanks for the post on OPEC consultations. It sounds more like they are talking about scheduling a meeting than actually doing it. It also doesn't sound like a sure bet to actually get an emergency meeting to happen. Disillusionment around this may bring oil prices lower.

Though I think Swede's argument that drilling-related stocks should be drawing more attention from value funds has merit, the pattern of selling the companies on oil price weakness may keep fund buying reserved until prospects for firming oil prices are clearer. On the other hand, I'm not convinced that weak oil prices will take us back to the January lows. As I've said before, I think the value argument becomes more compelling with time. But I think it is wise to maintain some caution and keep your head given the oil market fundamentals that may continue to weigh on the sector. I think being patient will be rewarded with another good buying opportunity; after that, being patient should be rewarded with much higher prices for the drillers.
