<<<By what objective standard have you concluded that Trump id "destroying" our economy?>>>>

By the objective of history and economic science.

You live for today inode with obviously zero ability to have a vision of the future. In the past, Tariffs have been destructive to free trade and all the benefits that brings to our economy. You think tariffs are good - not based on any sound thinking or logic - but because you are a dead minded sycophant. ........But it's not just tariffs that are setting the economy up for destruction; think the huge deficits. That money promised to be brought in to the treasury from tariffs are as real as the tooth fairy. On top of that false premise, will be the HUGE increases in government spending that is being asked for to increase our military. That is pure insane from an economic point of view. Add to that the cost of "nation building" and again lesson from the past are ignored. I could go on but that would take up too much brain function on your part. Obviously your head would explode if you tried to think beyond today's economy.

Can you really not see what is going on?

I could write a book, but I will keep it simple. But the main thing Trump has done is make enemies around the world and isolated us, that will destroy our economy as it is free trade that made us storng. Now the world is finding new countries to trade with!!

Trump says:" we don't need anything Canada has."-well except uranium, nickel, cobalt, graphite, copper, oil, gas, lumber, potash, electricity, tourists, and on and on.

Canada holds the cards, not the US-example:

We must get uranium from Canada, and Trump just phoned Carney and wanted exclusive rights to uranium, and he said:"NO"!!

We must have it! So this is what happens when you piss off a country by insulting and threatening them!

Instead he is trading now with France, UK, South Korea and Japan.

#1 the tariffs are a sales tax on our farmers and industry, so when there is like 25% tariff on Canadian potash that means the farmer has to pay 25% more for their potash than a farmer from a country with free trade, so our farmers cannot compete e.g. why our soy beans and wheat and corn is more expensive than those products from free trade countries like Brazil.

See how simple that is? The same is true for all the metals and things like car parts our industry has to import, they have to pay 25%, that other countries do not pay. Get it!!??

#2 The world hates Trump for extorting them and so are fleeing to find countries to trade with that do NOT have tariffs, and they world is "SELLING AMERICA, like our bonds, and so the world is uniting to avoid us and NOT trade with us.

And those new trade routes will NOT come back any time soon!

That will destroy oru economy.

Trump is destroying our economy, and made us a pariah of the world.
1. By what objective standard have you concluded that Trump id "destroying" our economy?

2. It is the nature of doing great things for America and freedom that parts of the world will not like that (e.g., when you reverse corrupt policies of a previous president, you inevitably piss off the benefactors who are harmed by the reversal, and some might even call him a pariah.

Any time you'd like to make well-reasoned arguments based on objective thinking, I'd be willing to take your comments seriously. The slinging of off-the-wall claims doesn't cut ice with me.
