That's the problem with living in a world where nothing is real. You don't question your Dear Leader when he performs an action that makes no sense whatsoever.

In this case, it's his desire to punish Powell for not complying with his whims. Even though Powell will be out soon, Dear Leader doesn't give a shit. He'll just weaponize the DOJ just to soothe his ego.

So yeah, keep pretending that it's all about "blowing taxpayer money." Tomorrow you will completely forget about it.
