Vet, you wrote:
Datek obviously are trying to please everyone, and that is impossible
I think it's possible, if Datek would make customizable page A La Excite's "My channel".
Michael.

As far as the "new classic" look goes, I'm quite happy with it now, except for the symbols column, that should be left-aligned. I even notice that Datek has removed the "help tags" above the tradeline that used to cause trouble when using tab to go from field to field; WELL DONE DATEK!

Having said that, I would like to return to my old request: I currently use a combination of Datek (for real-time quotes) and Yahoo (to see my portfolio's movement). Yahoo's Portfolio view (if you haven't seen it yet, you really should go look at it (http://quote.yahoo.com/portfolio - you might have to set it up first to be able to see it - i've used it so long now I can't remember).
Anyway, although quotes are 20 mins delayed, the one really nifty thing about Yahoo is the level they allow you to customize it- and they do it free of charge. What I would like to see from Datek is a new portfolio page, preferably customizable, but at least with the following fields: Symbol, Last Trade (time and value), Change (value), Volume, #Shares held, Value, Value Change (value and percent), Paid, Gain, Lo Limit, Hi Limit.

In Yahoo you have to actually enter the fields #Shares held and Paid which should be childs play for Datek to get out of the database. The fields Lo Limit and Hi Limit are used as reminders to where one's mental stops are.
