OBY shares out of registered accounts. If you miss the deadline, the entire accounts, not just the OBY shares, will be deregistered and you might be liable for a large tax bill
I will look into it but so far I have not seen any deadline as such..

My experience with shares that becomes not kosher in RRSP for example, results in TD sending you a notice and a date by which you have to remove it.. So far I have not seen anything from TD on it..

After the notrice, If you don't, then CRA will ding you a penalty.. I have a number of dead stocks in my RRSP for example where the company has gone bankrupt, valuation of the shares are zero but they are still there.. Unless I take the trouble of getting it out of the account..

Any case, I will check it out..
