How do you assess the probabilites of the DEC/CPQ merger being successfully consumated? I am surprized by the absence of any mention on this thread that purchase of DEC is an excellent way to buy cpq at about a 2-3 dollar discount. Surprizingly DEC fell 1 3/4 today and cpq by only 1 1/8. My own opinion is that regulatory approval of the deal is highly likely. The shareholders and management are in strong support so that leaves the biggest unknown as a possible thumbs down to the dec/intel settlement. What is your assessment as a long time dec follower?
