It sounds like Schwab thinks NUMD is an OTC Bulletin Board stock, which it is obviously not. They should be able to fill an order for a Nasdaq order right away. They shouldn't have to take 15 minutes making phone calls to sell a Nasdaq stock. If they admit getting your order at 9:31, then I think you should have been able to sell at $1.75. But I think the bid did fall as low as $1.50 or $1.5625 not long after the open.

I think they either need to give you a better excuse or they should give you $1.75

Jeff

They C Schwab explained the problem to me on the phone and read a record of the tape for the first 20 minutes to me. But it still shows the little guy without L2 quotes can't trust the single live quote service you get with the discounters at least on lesser known stocks or OTC. Live and learn. At least it wasn't a loss ( broke even cash wise that is).

< After reviewing your order to sell 1000 NUMD, Numed Home Health Care New shares, placed 2/18/98 at 9:31 am EST, we have determined that you received an accurate execution.>
Just doing a little DD and noticed in reading this thread that they called your shares "new shares". What was the date of the recap., did you receive your preffered and warrants as well and does anyone have an idea when the merger will go thru? I'm confused by some of what I've read so would someone please straighten me out.
