Thronefish, we're gonna see a MASSIVE silicon manufacturing crunch. Commodity DRAMs are now in very short supply thanks to the high demand for AI accelerators, which require gigabytes of HBM memory. The DRAM manufacturers are shifting their focus from DRAM to HBM because they command higher profit margins, but that leaves the rest of the computing market in the lurch.

In light of this, making nice with Taiwan makes too much sense, as we still haven't ramped up the silicon manufacturing capacity here in America.

Meanwhile, Trump is making life absolutely horrible for anyone who isn't white or can speak American like a native. That's putting a hamper on construction for new fabs.

Bottom line is that we have to rely on Korea and Taiwan to fill the insane demand for chips. That also means Trump has to try NOT to lose focus from the Pacific theater as China ramps up their militarism.
