Newscast pricing: WavePhore Software -2: To Be Available Mid-March Dow Jones News Service via Dow Jones Pricing for WavePhore Inc.'s Newscast Today 4.0 will begin at $24,995 annually for up to 100 users, a company spokeswoman said. No Evidence of Fees, just Pure Open Speculation. Given the business model of both WebTV and WavePhores 200,000 business system subscribers, I'm sure MSFT & WAVO will be more comfortable with this initiative once they can justify a any fee or charge structure -but that could easialy be a year away. Let me write a disclaimer here and now that I post about my interpretation of observations on the industry in the context of generally available information about WAVO. I don't have access to more information than anybody here; I simply have a willingness & time ;~) to muse about it. Good Luck.
