The options on expiration day are very liquid
assuming they are in the money. The only
disadvantage of waiting until the last day
is you have lost the amount you paid in
time premium. This can costly with stocks
that demand high premiums such as ASND.

<< FWIW, I trade options and on expiry day the option is as liquid as water. You have the right to do what you want, exercise or sell. You have an option that will be worth 5 bucks, you can exercise or sell any time during the day.I stand to be corrected always. >>

Beach, I think that's right. The only mod I know of is that some brokerages want you to let them know early on expiration day, if you are going to exercise.
