Poland to join ‘elite’ group by expanding gold reserves to 700 tonsPoland’s gold reserves could soon be among the ten largest in the world after bankers approved plans to expand the country’s haul of the precious metal to 700 metric tons.

Adam Glapinski, president of the National Bank of Poland (NBP), announced the planned increase on Tuesday. “This will place Poland among the elite ten countries with the largest gold reserves in the world,” he said.

The announcement was made following a meeting of the bank’s Monetary Policy Council last week, Polish state news agency PAP reported, with Glapinski saying that Poland held around 550 metric tons of gold worth $76.5 billion at the end of last year.

Glapinski, cited by PAP, said the NBP bought more than 100 metric tons of the metal in 2025, making it the largest net buyer among central banks last year.

Poland’s national bank says it is currently the 12th largest holder of gold reserves in the world, PAP reported. The country has aggressively increased its gold reserves in recent years, having only held 14 tons of it in 1996.

Did not do <<danish>> but did do toast, to take in brain-food in moderation, and to take respite in quiet corner of mall. Am hopeful that Team Trump, after taking down Greenland, before trying Canada, do Iceland

The salad dress was indecently interesting, infused with liquified mandarin orange peel, chilled to proper temperature together with the few vegetables
