Re: moving into 6-6.5% yielders; trying to stay under par

Hmm, parallel brain waves perhaps. I bought GAM-B and ATLCL this week. Orders from other Gabelli preferreds did not fill as of yet. Cheers.

Hi Brehm

The CHS preferreds are an oversized holding in some of our accounts. Probably too much?

Just curious about why you chose CHSCM? We have mostly purchased the L and the N in the past year or two, but sold the tiny amount of M we had and swapped it into the N a while back.

FWIW - I used to flip CHSCP pretty regularly years ago, but got all the way out a while back when it went above $32. Picked up about $5/share gain on that sale. Couldn't resist getting 2 1/2 years worth of dividends. I won't re-enter at current prices. Guess I am chickening out that CHS might call it and leave me stuck 'holding the bag".

ATLCL matures in Nov, YTM is ~7.5%. Seems decent for short term funds investment.
