Duane, I don't know exactly what counts as a "trader," as different people have different definitions. For my father, anyone who holds a stock for less than three years is a trader. For my brother, traders hold less than a day. I'm somewhere in between. Nowadays I try to make a smart fundamentals purchase so that I am comfortable holding and riding if I have to, but if there are profits to be taken, I take them. My humble advice is to take profits in DPMI now. Not because it isn't going to go higher, but if you get out at now at 47 you should be able to buy it back soon at 41-42 and then ride it back up higher. I used to own Teradyne, but haven't followed it in awhile. Gotta go to a meeting. Later
