Back in the day I took karate and my friends and I saw kick boxing matches in Vancouver, the one I remember the most was an American, big guy, blonde hair and an arrogant attitude, the guy he was fighting was a dark haired Canadian, big quiet guy, his opponent was bragging what he was going to do him, the Canadian said nothing. I had never seen either before and the American looked imposing so I had no expectation for a good outcome. When the Canadian knocked out the braggart the crowd went nuts, mostly Canadian you would think the crowd would normally root for the home town boy but If the Canadian had been the braggart and disrespected his opponent I can assure you the crowd would not of been on his side. Canadians do not like bullies and people who act like assholes.
