We listened to KOMA in Clint Texas. It was just about the only thing that wasn't country western. It only could be received after the sun went down.

you were a farm boy Ron, and did not take it up for a career? I was only on a Dairy farm once. A friend and I went camping by riding our bikes 17 miles to a river near his Grandmothers farm and we got rained out. We went to her farm soaking wet. I got to drink milk fresh out of a cow and shovelled cow manure for my supper, no free rides on Grannies farm even though I was only 12 and my friend was 10. This was in 1960. thinking about this now there is no way I would have let my Daughters go that far by themselves. I don't remember how we convinced our parents to let us go. My friend was the next door neighbour and his Mom liked me so I guess she thought because I was older he would be OK. I have no idea what my parents thought. LOL
