***OT***cockamamy, also cockamamie

I'll add to this only because there are so few posts today, but I somehow doubt that truly explains the t-shirt - basic definition is trifling, worthless, second rate, ludicrous, etc. A highly pejorative word derived from decalcomania - essentially an imitation tattoo applied by a transfer process popular in the 19th century (and again today)

Hi Linda!!1 To All: Go to IOM in Fooldom andd read the post titled the Zips are coming. It appears that Iom licenscees (sp?) are ramping production. This is only logical when you consider yesterday's announcement about IBM Japan including Zip as standard. I'm sure IBM got assurances of supply before they committed the deal.

RE: ***OT*** You TELL her???!?!

Linda,

Yeah, I tell her. We were both college students
in Southern California in the late Sixties and
early Seventies. After that, what we do here
is tame. Besides, she doesn't think the antics
of the thread are as entertaining as Sheila and
I (and you?) do, mostly because she's not
into mind games much. It's one of our big
differences. I loved "My Dinner with Andre,"
and she hated it. <g>

Cheers, Tom (long IOM)
