We, along with other people in our area, have had to cancel prayer meetings and bible study this week.
Church services & mass, of course, is not usually canceled in this type of weather.
I had even previously gone to weekly .adoration prayer sessions that were scheduled 24 hours a day around the clock with my time period being from 2:30 a.m.to 4:00 a.m. once a week. I did this for 20 years. There was a time back in 1990s (I think) when it was -10 below and worse with -30 below wind chill. These all-night sessions would only be canceled at levels of -10 below or worse. That got to be a much for many older people on the schedule. I was only in my 30s back then, so I could handle it.
