[ AS/400 Market ]

Perle's sales are made up of two key products, the AS/400 and the Remote Access Servers: the AS/400 makes up about 89% of the company's sales, and the RAS makes up about 11% of sales.

My research on the company has focused about 90% to the RAS portion, though its sales make up about 10%, and about 10% to the AS/400, though it makes up about 90% of the sales. Earlier this week, I have set the tables straight, and have refocused my research to find out more about the AS/400.

Is it really the sunset-industry product that it is made to appear? Below is a link that explains what the AS/400 is, and its prospects for the intermediate term future. The AS/400 will live and breath as long as IBM puts the effort to continue improving it. Below is the link that outlines the specific changes to the AS/400 that could make it a better contender to the NT:

On the field to the left, click on "What is AS/400?"

Any input would be appreciated.
