To All,
Our T1 was finally installed last night. We will be shutting down the Real Time Trader at 4:30 p.m. today in order to move all the servers onto the new circuit. The service will be down for approximately 3 hours due to this conversion. If you connect this evening, you may not be able to connect to "sharon.naq.com" yet. If you cannot connect, change the server name temporarily to 207.61.18.104 and you should be able to connect. This should make a huge difference to the problem of "brown-outs" we have been seeing lately. We have been testing the T1 overnight, and it is running very well. We also have 2 new T1's on order, so we don't run into this problem again. The second will be installed mid March, and the third, early April.
Should see a big difference Monday morning.
Paul, NAQ

Michael..thank you for the honesty. I know of the problems from Internet Trader. I use CBS MarketWatch Live now and it is JUST like ITrader. In many respects ITrader is better than CBS..but the glitches can kill.
