Joe...Good for you in making the call. First I have to say the person you talked to was unlikely this pud's secretary. More likely an intern transfered out of DC complete with knee pads. Second, since you have an account with ssb as do I, request they mail you weekly a copy of Portfolio Strategist. It is OK reading and is a service you can have for free. Over the last hour or so I have been parsing the past 3 months worth looking for something this meathead Gardner has done. Keep in mind they break down technology into 13 areas with an analyst asigned to each area. There was absolutley nothing until the Feb 20 issue that included Gardners revised earnings estimate for (guess who) DELL. That is right, here it is, dated Feb. 13 the schmuck REDUCED his estimate for DELL from $3.45 to $2.56. Ask your broker for a copy, it is on page 20.
