In further comment on Blackrock, it seems to have been on the leading edge of a general decline in mining stocks today, even as gold and silver remain in positive territory. Platinum, however, is down, and palladium is down strongly.

I wonder if this is just a day for short covering. In any event, I am curious to see if in Asian and Europe this evening (our time), they have another bull rally in metals following our two days of lower prices than what they hand to us.

"UPDATE on Blackrock Silver."

From my biggest loser when I posted that to closing flat on the day. Other of my silver-related issues recovered too, but closed with small loses. Otherwise, I had double digit gainers with Aztec Minerals (silver-gold) and Great Pacific Gold. Strange day, but like I said, I think it had something to do with short covering and then bargain hunters came in at the end of the day.
