Um, no. That isn't why they are furious. If for no other reason there is no evidence that they, in fact, have caught any illegals on Medicaid. Or that there is any reason to suspect there are illegals on Medicaid.

Personal medical information is supposed to be protected under HIPPA. IIRC, there is no provision in the law to allow that information to be used in fishing expeditions.
