Re: PYPL

Getting close to my GTC Buy point at $51.37/share. I watch OBV and that is low too. The 3 year low another point I watch is $50.25/share. Maybe we make a lower low on low vol. My plan is to start a tracking position at/near $51.37, watch for a multi year low at/below $50.25 and then start to scale in.

It's a 2026/2027 long term Buy/Hold. They do have good FCF, have exposure to Buy Now Pay Later and even one can have their Credit Card Reward Points credited to "PYPL".

I do not use PYPL any more but just use my rewards points credit card now for all my transactions.

I had an unpleasant experience w/ a charge on PYPL that I wanted credited back. It was past their 3 month dispute period and totally rejected my claim. I eventually got it resolved w/ Mint Mobile. Even though the PYPL was paid through my credit card American Express, both rejected my claim. American Express said it was PYPL's issue, PYPL said it was past their 90 day claim period.

Why use PYPL if you have a credit card. My default for AMZN is now my Credit Card, same w/ Mint Mobile.

PYPL needs to look at what the competition provides and provide more.

The value proposition at/below 10x PE does become compelling when you look at AXP selling at 24x PE

PYPL

PPWC and PPBL

Not real clear what the APRs on those micro business loans are, or how Paypal acts when the banks clam up, but those little businesses can't usually rely on the traditional banking system, especially in tight times.

Since 2013 tells me that it's worth their while.

EKS:

I use PYPL when I feel less confident of a vendor's security and don't want to show them my CC#. Don't know if it makes a difference besides throwing another middleman into the race for the swipe fee. But I've never done anything substantial. If they're not losing money on me they're running a very efficient operation indeed.
