I have a lot of respect for KO's management; however, I have some difficulty believing they can significantly raise their primarily soda pop selling $173,110,000,000 company's value. With a PE ratio floating at 43, what upward mobility do they have with the share price? The brand has many loyal buy-em-and-forget-em shareowner friends these days, and a Teflon-coated following with Wall Street. A bad quarter, and they could be in trouble. Frankly, I believe there are better choices out there. For example, PanAmerican Beverages (PB) has a good chunk of the South American market and is a big anchor seller of KO's products. It commands only a PE 26, even after a recent run-up. Even big competitor PEP has a firm value/revenue of 2.4 as opposed to KO's 8. There may be other choices out to consider, and consider we should.
