Moving these semiconductor companies around takes years, not months. Trump will be gone, tariffs will likely decrease significantly when he's gone, and, then Intel will have to have better process technology than TSMC, better designs than AMD, and be able to both pay Cap Ex for fabs and have the leading edge product at just the right time and win the in the market place and one screw up and there 3 years behind.

I like long AMD short Intel. It may not work, but it probably will work.

AMD is a customer for TSMC Arizona, which will likely grow substantially over the next few years.

And TSMC will likely be investing more in the US than Intel is.
