Jim,
Sounds exciting. Do you track Intel? I've known Intel to take 30% hits, does Dell do the same?

Jim, S.P. Pretty much summed it up concerning CPQ ----> an IBM wanabe. I would like to hear your take on what CPQ is doing.

Thanks

Greg

Jim:
If that happens I'll swap this gourd for whatever you are using You have some kind of old lamp???
Greg: Am sure we are in the right field with these tech stocks
mucho dollars available to invest in the future of the internet.
I believe AOL has the idea of bunching the greatest number of customers/subscribers ala TPC, then sending out bills that look like pages 2,3 4 of your phone bills.
Am beginning to believe they will make it work, too
Airlines have their up and downs(gg), oils come and go.But in
last two days the general Dow company earnings look weak, and always seem to have some kind of problem(CEO quits), "charges" that reduce earnings. So $ come over to solid techs.
We may take bigger hits on down markets, but in end is worth it.
THRX looks great. MY friends/relatives work for bmcs, geac, phg, but are far to interested/busy to buy stock in those, so I buy a bit for them(Hahahah).
But how I love thee, little Dell(gggg)
( Seems to have slammed the gate on bears at 3:45.POW, CRUNCH)
Sig

I dumped CPQ and bought DELL after CPQ announced the deal with DEC. I still have the nightmare of the merger of Burrough and Univac (now Unisys). DELL may attract more shareholders from other box makers, this could drive the price further up up up.
