I listened to Tucker for many years - used to record his programs - and later watched them, cutting out the commercials. Sometimes, he was critical about Israel - but in a “normal” kind of a way. Then, suddenly, he goes all out with real anger over the Hamas war - believing every word from the worst sources. He went pretty nuts over the US involvement with the bombing of the Iranian nukes. And later, it got worse - the man he seems to trust the most is the PM of Qatar - who presents himself as a very likable, sincere man. But, many people who know him claim that it’s for show. I don’t know.

The only other person who had a similar “conversion” - but in a more intense form - was Scott Ritter. Whenever he used to talk about Israel, he used to do it in a generally understanding, sympathetic way. That is, until one day, soon after October 7, when he suddenly, overnight, started talking about Israel and anything related to Jews in a sharply negative - not to say hateful - tone.

Going back to Tucker - it looks like he isn’t thriving. He always used to have a certain lighthearted way about him. In recent times, he’s often angry and bitter. Who the heck knows… maybe it’s a depression of some sort. Tomorrow I’m meeting a buddy of mine who’s a Psychiatrist, for a couple of beers. I’ll ask him.
