On the Bloomberg there were an awful lot of big block sells going through, but the price never really moved down.

I pulled up the trades for MRVC with RT Internet Trader and I don't see an awful lot of big blocks. I'm counting only those which are greater than 10,000 shares. Perhaps 8-10 of 10,000 shares or greater.

Jim, good point, usually market makers manipulate the stocks as you stated for porfit, but they also do that to keep the price steady to control the volatility and in this case, keeping the price down for a good reason.
If there were negative news that we just don't know about, I think that it is to the market maker's advantage to allow the price to go up and then sell for a huge profit before the news is out but this is not the case here, maybe this is a positive. What do you think??

I consider it a possibility that the one analyst who pressed about customers over 10% or the one who was insistent about which MRVC product was comprable to one particular INTC product (the answer to which the co. failed to articulate well, IMO, btwn Schomo's accent and the other's stammering --the answers themselves were okay and substantive, but I think the deliverary is hurting them because the anaylysts (to me) obviously were having trouble understanding the concepts & they did not spell it out enough to them -- to me a CC is a little like teaching first grade & you need to follow the KISS strategy and REPEAT, REPEAT,REPEAT)....Anyway, I think one or both of them felt they did not get the answere they were looking for (heavy INTC involvement) which may have been the main reason they were in the stock _even if_ the replacement (higher margin direct sales). And since they both were thought heavy toward INTC, they would have been most sensitive to INTC's splash in networking. Together this could have led to thier selling off, IMO, offsetting & overcoming any buying that could be done......

Sorry about the ramble, but those are just some thoughts I have.
