European nations got that ball rolling the moment they were convinced that there were too many people in the world - starting with themselves.


LOL!…. Yeah, just around the time when it became obvious that in most countries, the populations were, actually, shrinking.

I suspect the big winners will prove to be the countries that didn't fall for the insane idea of bringing in millions of unskilled people of different races, cultures and religions. Those will be the Hungarians, Poles, the Baltic countries, Belarus, Ukraine - and maybe Russia, and some more Eastern Europeans, like Romania. Maybe, some nations in the West - like Denmark. I hear, they’re trying to get the incoming numbers under control.

This will be especially relevant if the promises of industrial automation come to fruition. Everyone will be relatively comfortable - but nations which will refrain from giving in to the impulse of reverse colonialism - will find themselves less overcrowded and more comfortable.
